Vectus Biosystems (ASX: VBS) is developing novel small-molecule therapies designed to reverse established fibrotic disease. Our lead asset VB0004, is a first-in-class VIP mimetic and NPR-C agonist with a completed Phase 1a safety profile and a clear path to an adaptive Phase 1b/2a in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis patients.

Fibrotic diseases contributed to 35.4% of all global deaths in 2019, yet patients with fibrotic disease have no approved therapy capable of reversing established disease. Vectus Biosystems is developing first-in-class small-molecule therapies targeting the underlying biology of fibrosis across multiple organs.
VB0004 in IPF
VB0004 is Vectus’ lead antifibrotic asset, currently advancing towards an adaptive Phase 1b/2a clinical trial in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). IPF is a progressive and often fatal disease with no approved disease-modifying therapy.
